In the early morning, take a traditional long-tail boat to Wat Arun – the Temple of the Dawn to enjoy a stunning view and explore the gem of Bangkok.
Continue to one of the must-see sights, the spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city’s most famous landmark. Built in 1782- and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government – the Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old dame indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people.
Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom. Within the palace complex are several impressive buildings including Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which contains the small, very famous and greatly revered Emerald Buddha that dates back to the 14th century. The robes on the Buddha are changed with the seasons by HM The King of Thailand and forms an important ritual in the Buddhist calendar. Thai Kings stopped living in the palace around the turn of the twentieth century, but the palace complex is still used to mark all kinds of other ceremonial and auspicious happenings. Then return to the hotel for some leisure time in the afternoon.
Streetfood adventure
Go beyond tourist zones for the most enjoyable midnight eating adventure. After the moon comes up, cruise along Bangkok streets via this city’s iconic 3-wheel, Tuk Tuk, to visit Bangkokian’s favorite places to eat. Taste a variety of savory menus, including the local favorite Northeastern Thai Food (Esan Food), the town’s Best Pad Thai, and the popular home-style Thai snack. Between the bites, visit old-town landmarks and temples for a different perspective compared to the busy day time scene. Discover the side of Bangkok wholly unknown to visitors. We will finish the tour by Cinderella’s time. This tour is not suitable for vegetarians.

Day 3: Bangkok | Sea Life Ocean World – Bangkok

Sea Life Ocean World – is famous for its marine exhibits. 30,000 creatures from across the globe call this aquatic wonderland home. It is the size of three Olympic swimming pools. This attraction is perfect for families or individuals who love aquatic animals.
The aquarium is split into seven parts: The Deep Reef, The Rain Forest, The Weird and Wonderful, The Rocky Shore, The Open Ocean, Sea Jellies and the Living Ocean. Our guide will bring you to explore these interesting educational opportunities and discover an array of marine life from various parts of the world. Explore the Open Ocean segment that features a 270-degree glass tunnel where you can walk alongside some of the ocean’s most fierce predators such as ragged-tooth sharks, black-tipped sharks, and stingrays. Risk a stroll on the Shark Walk where only a sheet of acrylic separates you from the 5 various types of sharks below! After you are finished exploring, return to the hotel for leisure and overnight.

Take a morning flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.
Siem Reap is a quaint town in Cambodia and the gateway to the vast remains of the Angkor empire. Discover the Royal Gardens on your own with ancient trees home to a colony of giant fruit bats. Take a stroll along the scenic riverside and visit the night markets to find unique souvenirs. You may also want to spend the evening with a visit to Pub Street with several restaurants and bars that stay open late into the night. Many restaurants have live entertainment in the evening.
In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat trip on the water of the Tonle Sap Lake to a floating village called Kampong Kleang. This floating village is one of the most remote and least visited on the lake. You’ll transfer to the village then go by boat to explore the stilted homes and lake. See pet dogs and pigs in people’s homes over the water. Watch as community members get around on small boats. Visit the mangrove forests nearby home to diverse fauna. Then continue to the local pagoda, a colorful Khmer architecture with monks tending to their daily chores and studies. Have an opportunity to meet with the monks and discuss with them about their life and beliefs. Those studying English are always excited to practice. After your exploration, return to Siem Reap for overnight.

Day 5: Siem Reap | Angkor Thom by Bicycle and Buddhist Water Blessing

South Gate of Angkor Thom – 15 Days Thailand Cambodia Family Vacation
Enjoy a relaxing cycling tour in the morning in ancient Angkor Thom – a stone city built around the time of Angkor Wat.
The biking tour will start at the South Gate – a photogenic bridge at the gateway of the stone city of Angkor Thom which has made its way into many Hollywood movies. Angkor Thom was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. Enter the stone city and explore shaded trails and ancient monuments. Visit Bayon Temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces which fame as “Khmer Smile”, you will also visit the Terrace of Elephants, the Royal Palace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Stop your cycling trip with a visit to the local monastery to chat with monks and see their daily life. Then take part in a Water Blessing Ceremony. We will provide a change of clothes for you – a traditional Sarong which you will wear during the ceremony.
In the afternoon, go to visit Ta Prohm Temple – a jungle monastery with trees overcoming stone. This temple has been featured in many Hollywood films, including Tomb Raider and Transformers 3. On the way back, stop to see the Killing Fields of Wat Thmei. Our guide will relay to you about the history of the Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot, and the war. Cambodia is still healing from these atrocities.

Day 6: Siem Reap | Angkor Wat Temple | Village Visit and Water Filter Donation

Be prepared today to enjoy one of the Seven Wonders of the World: Angkor Wat.
Enter Angkor Wat and learn about the stories and amazing architecture that has stunned archaeologists leaving more questions than answers. Angkor Wat possesses some of the most intricate and longest stone carvings in the world. This complex is four times the size of the Vatican City making it the largest religious site in the world. Spend the morning adventuring through the many passages, levels, and exploring chambers that once housed many treasures of the ancient world. It will be an experience you won’t forget. Return to the hotel for some leisure time.
Angkor Wat Sunrise
Then go to visit a small village to donate a slow sand water filtration system. You’ll have a chance to meet with the village families. The water filtration system will be able to provide potable/drinking water to the whole village. We can also arrange to have your logo or names painted on the filter ahead of time. The installation staff will instruct the villagers on how to maintain the filter.
Optional recommendation: We recommend that if you have any used children’s books in your home that you no longer need, you may bring them with to donate to the children in the village. This can impact the village children to focus on their education and provide them English reading materials not available from their school.
Day 7: Siem Reap – Krabi | Flight to Phuket | Road Trip to Krabi

In the morning, take a flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport. Then, you’ll take a scenic road transfer to Krabi. The transfer is around 3 hours with pleasant views en route. Upon arrival, get checked in and the rest of the day is at your leisure.
Long-tail boats and salty seas; limestone cliffs and vibrant jungle canopies; clear blue waters with a spectrum of fish varieties just below – Krabi is a step back to nature and scenery. Sandy beaches and moving sunsets draw the weary traveler for a place of respite and refocusing. Today is at your leisure on the beach.

This morning, you will take a flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.
The old city walls still stand verdantly against the course of time, inviting pilgrims to come rest, and explore the lost treasures of the Lanna Kingdom. Established as the capital in 1296AD of the vast “Kingdom of a Million Rice Fields”, Chiang Mai carries a heritage lurking around every quiet cobble-stone alley and corridor. These days, cafes, boutiques, pubs, and spas are auspiciously peppered throughout, while colorful Meo and Akha hill tribes make their daily ritual visit to the valley to offer their hand made tapestries and handicrafts to curious adventurers. The Ping River weaves through the valley to the East of the Old City while a peaceful moat surrounds the time-worn walls.
In the afternoon, transfer to the Hmong Village with its unique marts at Doi Pui. Here you see the Hmong hill people in their colorful costumes, selling their wide range of antiques, curious decorative ornaments, and fabrics. Then, you’ll transfer up the snakey road to Wat Doi Suthep with its sky-piercing golden chedi (Pagoda).

Day 11: Chiang Mai | Elephant Sanctuary | Khantoke Dinner

Elephant Sanctuary – 15 Days Thailand Cambodia Family Vacation
Today, you will join in a tour to an elephant sanctuary in the jungles near Chiang Mai by 4WD truck. First, you’ll learn about the project and hear the amazing stories of each rescued and orphaned elephant. Learn how they became a proud herd free from abuse and misuse. Then have an opportunity to feed them. Take a stroll with the herd to the nearby river. Here you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in bathing the elephants with the sanctuary staff. Next, enjoy a picnic spread for lunch.
After you have said your farewells, return back to the hotel for some leisure time.
Please note not to wear any perfume or strong fragrances as elephants are sensitive to smell. Also, bring a change of clothes for swimming, odorless sunscreen, and a towel.
Around 7 PM, our guide will transfer you to an outdoor courtyard theatre. Take a place in traditional Thai seating as Thai dishes are brought to you. Enjoy colorful performances in traditional Lanna Thai apparel with live music. Our guide will return you to your hotel after the show.

Day 12: Chiang Mai | Chiang Mai Temples | Afternoon Leisure | Night Safari

In the morning, visit the most prominent temples in Chiang Mai. Start with Wat Phra Singh which houses the famous Phra Singh Buddha image. It features Lanna art throughout and illustrates many famous Buddhist stories. Continue on to Wat Chedi Luang, which once contained the Emerald Buddha. The temple is partially in ruins due to an earthquake in the 1500s. Then stop at Wat Chiang Man which is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai and also houses one of Thailand’s greatest treasures: the Crystal Buddha.
Then continue to Wat Suan Dok, which houses many of the remains of generations of the old Chiang Mai Royal Family. Finally, visit Wat Jet Yot – this peaceful temple is surrounded by green and was built in the Mahabodhi style from India to house the Eighth World Buddhist Council in 1453. You’ll return to the hotel for some leisure in the afternoon. During the evening, you’ll be picked up to visit over 300 acres of natural land surrounded by Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, the Chiang Mai Night Safari offers visitors the chance to watch wild animals close-up. Explore the 2 trails, Predator Prowl and Savanna Safari. Have a tram ride to Savanna Safari Zone (depart at 7:45 PM) including Serows, Gorals, Gaurs, White Rhinoceroses, Spotted Hyenas, Cheetahs, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Yaks, and Barasinghas.
Continue with Predator Prowl Zone (depart 08:30 PM) which is the carnivorous animal zone including Lions, Manned Wolves, Black Bears, Jackals, Pumas, Hyenas, Crocodiles, Vultures, Malayan Sun Bears, and Wolves. Then return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 13: Chiang Mai – Train | Morning Leisure | School for Life Visit | Overnight Train to Bangkok

Morning is at your leisure to enjoy the resort facilities or explore on your own.
In the afternoon, visit The School for Life – a school project founded by Prof. Dr. Juergen Zimmer and Khun Thaneen “Joy” Worrawittayakun in 2003. It provides a home and education for children in difficult circumstances. The school has provided free education for many children each year who come from hill tribe families.
In the evening, our guide will transfer you to the train station for an overnight train to Bangkok.
