Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, our guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to Sofitel Phnom Penh Pokheetra for check in at their Luxury Room with wooden floor, private balcony overlooking Mekong River, and upgraded amenities. As the sun is setting, embark on a Sunset Dinner Cruise with beautiful views of the Phnom Penh night lights and Royal Palace.

Day 2: Phnom Penh | Highlights of Phnom Penh City
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
In the morning, transfer to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek and the Tour Sleng Genocide Museum. These were places of execution and burial of people under the Khmer Rouge regime. Learn of the tragedies of the past and how the country is recovering.
In the afternoon, you’ll continue to the National Museum where you will see the largest collection in the world of Khmer history, art and architecture on display. You will also visit the Silver Pagoda, which has 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and then you’ll visit the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives. Then you’ll visit Wat Phnom, the hill where Phnom Penh was first founded.
Return to the hotel to relax.

Day 3: Phnom Penh-Sen Monourom |Overland Transfer to Sen Monorom
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overland travel from Phnom Penh to Sen Monourom, the mountainous area near the border of Vietnam and Cambodia. It is a scenic and enjoyable ride along the newly built highway.
Upon arrival, check in resort in at Mayura Hill Hotel & Resort at their Deluxe Villa with private Jacuzzi and private balcony looking at the hills. Then you’ll relax.

Day 4: Sen Monorom | Elephant Valley Project
Meals: Breakfast
Today visit an elephant conservation project at the Elephant Sanctuary. Spend your day with the elephants, shadowing two families of the friendly giants in the jungle. Go trekking with them, learn about the elephants and their mahouts (human companion), the forest and the conservation project.

Day 5: Sen Monorom | Discover Northern Highlands of Seima Protected Forest
Meals: Breakfast
Enjoy an off-the-beaten path trek to discover the Seima Protected Forest in the northern highlands of Cambodia. Guided by a local trekking guide, you’ll have several different treks through parts of the forest with differing physical levels to choose from.
In the afternoon, have a visit to the Bousra Waterfall, one of Cambodia’s most impressive cascades hidden in the jungle.

Day 6: Sen Monorom-Kratie |Overland to Kratie, Kayaking with Mekong Dolphins
Meals: Breakfast
Travel overland to Kratie in the morning, a small town located at the riverside of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, take a ferry to cross the Mekong to a large island, where the Rajabori Villas Resort is located. Check in and relax.
Later in the afternoon, get in a kayak* and paddle downstream the Mekong River, through the flooded forests to the dolphin pool to discover the Irawaddy dolphins. *Motorboat is optional.

Day 7: Kratie – Siem Reap |Biking Through Countryside, Overland to Siem Reap
Meals: Breakfast
Enjoy a relaxing bicycle ride on the river island along the country road through rice paddies and passing village homes. You might be greeted by people tilling in their gardens or working in the fields.
After lunch, travel overland to Siem Reap. It is a scenic drive along the riverside of the Mekong through many villages. Cross the river by ferry and continue to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, check in Shinta Mani Club Hotel and relax.

Day 8: Siem Reap | Ancient City of Angkor Thom and Historical Relics
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Today begins your exploration to the legendary lost civilization of Angkor.
You will firstly visit Ta Prohm, the ‘jungle temple’ of ‘Tomb Raider’ fame. Then continue your visit to the ancient capital city of Angkor Thom, a large walled city complex which includes the Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Preah Palilay, Phimeanakas(Royal Palace), Baphuon, and the famous Bayon Temple with its captivating stone faces.
Return to hotel for a rest and escape the heat of the afternoon. Later continue to visit Banteay Kdei(“Citadel of Chambers”) followed by sunset drinks on the top of Pre Rup Pyramid.

Day 9: Siem Reap | Untouched Temples of Banteay Srei & Beng Mealea
Meal: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Morning visit to the Banteay Srei Temple, which also named as ‘Temple of Women’. You will be amazed by its beautiful carvings on the pink color stones. Then take a journey of discovery on an ox-cart through the villages and rice fields. Visit a local villager’s house and discover their daily life and work. You may also visit a local workshop of rice noodle to see how the local rice noodles are made.
Lunch in a dragon fruit farm for Cambodian cuisine, then continue your exploration to the jungle-clad Beng Mealea Temple, the most mysterious temples at Angkor, it used to be utterly consumed by jungle, but nowadays uncovered and open for visit. Even though, it still keeps most the same as it was discovered.

Day 10: Siem Reap | Life of Cambodian & Handicraft Arts, Relax
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
In the morning, take part in a Cambodian cooking class. Your chef will start by taking you to a local market where you will learn how to identify the various produce, herbs, and spices used in Cambodian food. Then you’ll start a cooking class to learn a few traditional dishes. Last you’ll enjoy the creation you have made. Feel free to take your newfound skills home to impress your friends and family!
In the afternoon, take a visit to Artisans d’Angkor workshop to see preparation of the traditional Khmer arts: stone-carving, painting, pottery, silk-weaving and lacquerware.
Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 11: Siem Reap | Crowning Gem of Southeast Asia: Angkor Wat Temple
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Rise up early before the sun rises and enjoy a ride on Tuk Tuk through the jungles to Angkor Wat Temple. Marvel at one of the most magnificent sunrises in the world as the sun illuminates the ancient Angkor Wat Temple. Angkor Wat is the largest religious complex in the world, over four times the size of the Vatican City in Rome. After sunrise, enjoy a light picnic breakfast in front of the ancient monument. Then continue to explore the vast stone complex with its intricate carvings, hallways, and tiers.
Return to the hotel for leisure time.
In the evening, enjoy a dinner with fine Cambodian cuisine, and the traditional Dance of Apsara.

Day 12: Siem Reap – Battambang | Life on the Tonle Sap Lake
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Travel by private wooden boat through channels lined with bamboo, shrubs and tall grass. Cross the Tonle Sap Lake to Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy beautiful views of the natural landscape and seasonal flood forests. Pass through a floating village to see how local fishing communities live on the water.
Continue by boat to Battambang.
Upon arrival at the port, our driver will greet you and escort you to The Battambang Resort.

Day 13: Battambang | Ride the Bamboo Train & City Highlights
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Enjoy a fun ride on the bamboo train through rice fields. Enjoy a stroll around the old market which is surrounded by French colonial style houses. Visit some the art galleries on display of local artists.
Have lunch and a short rest in the hotel.
Then continue to Sampeau Mountain where many of the atrocities occurred during the Khmer Rouge. Climb to the top to get a bird’s eye view of the Battambang terrain. Your guide will explain about the history there. The mountain is inhabited by both Buddhist monks and small Macaque monkeys. Go through the short caves which were used during the Khmer Rouge. As sun is setting, watch outside the largest cave as a large colony of thousands of bats exit to roam the skies.
Return to the resort for leisure time.

Day 14: Battambang-Koh Rong Samloem Island| Return to Siem Reap, Fly to Sihanoukville and Ferry to Island.
Flight:Meal: Breakfast
Travel overland back to Siem Reap in the morning, then take a short flight to Sihanoukville around noon time.
Upon arrival, our guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to the pier. Take a speed boat ride to the Koh Rong Samloem Island. It is a hidden gem on the Gulf of Thailand with crystal waters, white sand and untouched beaches.
Check in Sol Beach Resort on the island at their Beach Front Villa and enjoy a two day beach getaway.

Day 15-16: Koh Rong Samloem Island| Relax on Koh Rong Samloem Island.

Day 17: Koh Rong Samloem Island-Phnom Penh| Fly to Phnom Penh, Departure.

Board the morning ferry back to Sihanoukville where our guide will meet you at the pier. Then take a short flight to Phnom Penh to catch your international flight (if flight is not available, travel to Phnom Penh by private car).
If your international flight departure in the evening, you may directly connect to your homeward flight, or we can arrange an overnight in Phnom Penh.
