Day 2: Bangkok | Bangkok by Boat | Thai Street Food
Meals:Breakfast, Dinner In the early morning, take a traditional longtail boat to Wat Arun – the Temple of the Dawn to enjoy a stunning view and explore the gem of Bangkok.
Continue to one of the must-see sights, the spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city’s most famous landmark. Built-in 1782- and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government– the Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old dame indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people.
Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom. Within the palace complex are several impressive buildings including Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which contains the small, very famous and greatly revered Emerald Buddha that dates back to the 14th century. The robes on the Buddha are changed with the seasons by HM The King of Thailand and forms an important ritual in the Buddhist calendar. Thai Kings stopped living in the palace around the turn of the twentieth century, but the palace complex is still used to mark all kinds of other ceremonial and auspicious happenings. Also visit Wat Po, with it’s large reclining Buddha. Then return to the hotel for some leisure time in the afternoon.

Go beyond tourist zones for the most enjoyable midnight eating adventure. After the moon comes up, cruise along Bangkok streets via this city’s iconic 3-wheel, Tuk Tuk, to visit Bangkokian’s favorite places to eat. Taste a variety of savory menus, including the local favorite Northeastern Thai Food (Esan Food), the town’s Best Pad Thai, and the popular home-style Thai snack. Between the bites, visit old-town landmarks and temples for a different perspective compared to the busy daytime scene. Discover the side of Bangkok wholly unknown to visitors. We will finish the tour by the Cinderella’s time. This tour is not suitable for vegetarians.

Day 7: Koh Samui – Chiang Mai | Flight to Chiang Mai | Explore the Ancient Temples of Chiang Mai
Meals: Breakfast In the early morning, our representative will transfer you the airport to catch up for a flight to Chiang Mai.
Upon arrival, our guide in Chiang Mai will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in for check-in.
In the afternoon, visit the most prominent temples in Chiang Mai. Start with Wat Phra Singh which houses the famous Phra Singh Buddha image. It features Lanna art throughout and illustrates many famous Buddhist stories. Continue on to Wat Chedi Luang, which once contained the Emerald Buddha. The temple is partially in ruins due to an earthquake in the 1500s. Then stop at Wat Chiang Man which is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai and also houses one of Thailand’s greatest treasures: the Crystal Buddha.
Then continue to Wat Suan Dok, which houses many of the remains of generations of the old Chiang Mai Royal Family. Finally, visit Wat Jet Yot – this peaceful temple is surrounded by green and was built in the Mahabodhi style from India to house the Eighth World Buddhist Council in 1453. You’ll return to your hotel and evening is at your leisure. Feel free to explore the night markets and bazaars for some interesting souvenirs made by the hill tribes in the surrounding mountains.

Day 8: Chiang Mai | Befriending the Gentle Giants of Asia
Meals:Breakfast, Lunch Today, you will join in a tour to an elephant sanctuary in the jungles near Chiang Mai by 4WD truck. First, you’ll learn about the project and hear the amazing stories of each rescued and orphaned elephant. Learn how they became a proud herd free from abuse and misuse. Then have an opportunity to feed them. Next, enjoy a picnic spread. Then take a stroll with the herd to the nearby river. Here you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in bathing the elephants with the sanctuary staff.
After you have said your farewells, return back to the hotel for some leisure time.

Day 9: Chiang Mai | Jungle Quad Biking
Meals: Breakfast This morning, take to quad bikes for an exhilarating ride through 25 miles of jungle terrain and Thai countryside. You’ll be picked up in the morning and transfer to the starting point. Undergo a safety briefing and a short training course as you familiarize yourself with your ride. Then follow the quad bike guide through scenic hills, jungle terrain, and back trails. After the 3-hour ride, you’ll stop for lunch. Then return back to the hotel for leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 10: Chiang Mai – Siem Reap | Flight to Siem Reap
Meals:Breakfast, Dinner In the morning, transfer by flight to Siem Reap with a stopover in Bangkok. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.
Be prepared to enjoy a beautiful traditional dance performed by a team trained in the Dance of Apsara.
In the evening, you will be picked up from the hotel lobby and transferred to Angkor Village Hotel Theater for a traditional Apsara Dinner Show. where you will have a unique dining experience which will bring ancient Khmer culture to life in spectacular surroundings while you enjoy the very best in Cambodia cuisine. This one-of-a-kind cultural experience highlights the mysterious civilization and heritage of Khmer spoken through choreography and music. Colorful costumes and playful activities will give you insights into the Khmer daily life and wedding traditions while you enjoy a delicious meal to welcome you to the Kingdom of Wonders.

Day 11: Siem Reap | Ancient City of Angkor Thom by Bicycle
Meals:Breakfast, Lunch
Today, you will enjoy a relaxing but fun biking tour in the Angkor Thom. It is an easy biking route but with temples, rural scenery, good road, and easy off-road conditions.
The biking tour will start near Angkor Wat towards the Angkor Thom which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. When you reach the south gate of the Angkor Thom, bike along the city wall to the West gate with a stop to visit the Corner Temple in the midway. Near the West Gate, you will visit the village outside the city wall where you will discover the daily life of local villagers.

After visiting the village, bike inside the Angkor Thom and visit the Bayon Temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces which fame as “Khmer Smile”, you will also visit the Terrace of Elephants, the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Continue to bike heading north to get away with the crowded place with tour groups, you will bike through quiet path flanked by trees to the Temple Preah Khan and Ta Keo Temple. You easy biking trip will finish in Ta Prohm Temple, which is widely known as “lost to the jungle temple”.
You will be pick up by van from Ta Prohm Temple and transfer back to the hotel. Rest of the day will be free for you to relax that can have fun in the swimming pool.

Day 12: Siem Reap | Floating Village of Kampong Phluk
Meals: Breakfast In the morning, you’ll take a boat trip on the water of the Tonle Sap Lake to a floating village called Kampong Phluk. Kampong Phluk means, Harbor of the Tusks, due to its past trade in elephant ivory many years ago. Having 3,000 habitants residing in stilted houses, the most common profession is fishing.

Day 13: Siem Reap – Hanoi | Angkor Wat Sunrise | Flight to Hanoi
Meals: Breakfast Before the light of day, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to the front of Angkor Wat Temple. From here, you’ll watch one of the most revered sunrises in the world. Our guide will arrange a light picnic breakfast for you to enjoy in front of the world’s #1 Heritage Site. Then in the early hours, you’ll explore the vast temple with your guide bringing to life the stories of Angkor. In the morning, the rays of the light play through the chambers as the morning haze settles and giving the temple a mystical ambiance while there are few tourists who visit during this time of day. After your explorations, you’ll return to your hotel for some rest and leisure time.

In the evening, take a flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a stroll on your own around Hoan Kiem Lake outside your hotel. Feel free to also pick up a souvenir at the night markets or at one of the many trinket shops in the alleys and small roads of this historic part of town.

Day 14: Hanoi – Halong Bay | Voyage Halong Bay with Cruise by Pelican
Meals:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Join a transfer to Halong Bay with other travelers who will be on the cruise. Stopover at Hai Duong province for refreshments on the way. Arrive at Tuan Chau island around noon. Take a break and enjoy a welcome drink at the Pelican Halong Cruise Lounge. Then transfer by tender to the cruise.
Onboard, enjoy a welcome drink while receiving the cruise briefing and safety instructions. Then get checked in.
Head up to the panoramic dining hall to enjoy buffet lunch with Vietnamese dishes served while cruising through the bay, passing the most beautiful and quiet areas, such as Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach, Coconut Three Island.
Visit Tung Sau area covered by leaping rocks and cultured pearl fishery. You can learn about the process of harvesting and polishing pearls. Then have a chance to go kayaking.
Visit the beautiful Ti Top beach for swimming(if the weather permits). Ti Top Beach is especially famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand. You can also ascend the hundreds of steps to Ti Top View Point for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
Back to the boat for a free time while sailing to Luon Bo area where we will anchor overnight.
Halong Bay Sunset
Attend a Cooking class on the sundeck and learn how to make Vietnamese spring rolls. After, enjoy viewing the sunset over the bay while distant sunlight makes it’s way through the karsts casting streaks across the sky.
Enjoy a dinner with barbequed seafood options and Vietnamese dishes.
Evening activities include leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, watching movies, playing cards and board games or relaxing in your room. You may also try your luck at squid fishing & fishing from the boat(subject to seasonal availability).

Day 15: Hanoi | Sunrise Halong Bay | Return to Hanoi
Meals: Breakfast Start with a Tai Chi Lesson on the sundeck to welcome the sun. Coffee, tea, and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with the morning view of the bay’s landscape.
Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. (Proper shoes are highly recommended.)
Return to the cruise for check out, and then enjoy a buffet brunch while cruising back to Tuan Chau Wharf. Disembark and say goodbye to the crew.
Transfer back to Hanoi for overnight.

Day 16: Hanoi | Hanoi City’s Highlights | Water Puppet Show and Dinner
Meals:Breakfast, Dinner In the morning, you’ll be escorted to see the Tran Quoc Pagoda. This 1,400-year-old temple features ten tiers surrounded by gardens and which also hosts a bodhi tree grown from a cutting of the original Buddhist tree under which Buddha sat. Next, you’ll take a stroll around the Hoan Kiem Lake where you can see the Tortoise Tower sitting on the water. Then you’ll enjoy a half hour cyclo tour through the Old Quarter in Hanoi. The cyclo is a historic mode of transportation in the cities of Vietnam where a cyclist escorts you while you sit in a seat affixed to the front with a canopy over top.
Next, you’ll visit the One Pillar Pagoda – a pagoda situated on a pillar made of a single stone, in the middle of a lotus pond. This pagoda was built by a 9th-century emperor who saw it in a dream and regarded this as a divine inspiration to recreate the structure in the vision. You’ll pass by the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum before visiting the highlight of this tour – The Temple of Literature. This ancient university was erected almost a millennium ago and has hosted many of the most prominent scholars through Vietnamese history. The site features many gardens, pools, buildings, and ancient trees where the best and brightest of Vietnam studied under the guidance of Confucius teachings.
Traditional Puppet Show
The evening will start with a Water Puppet Show performed by the world-renowned Thang Long Opera House. This performance features a talent unique to Vietnam. You’ll watch as water puppets perform the folklore legends of Vietnam while live ethnic music sets the mood. After the show, you’ll enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine at Home Restaurant – a historic French colonial residence restored in between the Old Quarter and the serene West Lake. Enjoy reminiscing over the last few weeks of fun packed adventures in Southeast Asia. Once you finish your dinner, you’ll be escorted to your hotel for overnight.

Day 17: Hanoi | Farewell!
