Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in. You’ll receive a short tour briefing in the lobby and then are at your leisure for the evening.

Day 2: Guilin | Li River Cruise, Relax

Check out hotel in the morning, you will embark on a half day boat cruise along the Li River to Yangshuo. Li River is known as one of the best beautiful river in China with its beautiful Karst formation, it is an absolute scenic cruise and will be one of the highlights of your trip to China.
Disembark at Yangshuo, the small town locates among the limestone hills. You will take a stroll along the stone paved old street and markets till you are picked up by the driver.
Check in hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Day 3: Guilin | Enjoy the Picturesque Countryside of Yangshuo

Yangshuo is famous for its picturesque and tranquil countryside landscape in China. Guided by our tour guide, you will enjoy a relaxing biking tour through the most beautiful part of Yangshuo. You will have a chance to visit some old houses built several hundred years ago to discover people’s life nowadays in these historical residences.
To make your day more enjoyable, you will have a bamboo rafting along the Yulong River. Paddled by local fisherman, the bamboo raft now is one of the most popular activities for tourist. Sit on the raft and floating downstream the river, you will feel like travel in a Chinese landscape painting.
In the evening, it is an option for you to watch the River Show—Impression of Liu Sanjie, a magnificent show perform on the Li River by more than 600 performers.

Day 4: Guilin | Stunning Landscape of Rice Terrace Fields and Ethnic Culture of Hill Tribes.

Today, you will enjoy a 3 hours scenic road trip to the mountainous Longsheng area. Longsheng is home to the spectacular rice terrace fields on the mountain, and the diverse mountain hill tribes of Zhuang, Yao and Miao ethnic minorities.
It is not too difficult to walk from the village to the top of the mountain for a stunning panoramic view of the rice terrace. You may also choose a short trekking on the paths through the rice fields and forests, to discover more breathtaking views and villages.
Stay in the Longji village on the top of the mountain for overnight.

Day 5: Longsheng – Sanjiang | Transfer to Sanjiang, Discover Dong Ethnic Hill Tribes

Travel overland through the lush mountain to Sanjiang City, here is the main residential area for Dong Ethnic Group. Upon arrival, we will firstly visit the Chengyang Bridge, built in 1916, it is a typical Dong ethnic wooden bridge and the largest in scale. Then we continue to visit the Zhaoxing Village, one of the large tribal village with more than 1,000 wooden houses. Discover the Drum Tower, the largest drum tower complex in China, you will be amazed by the scale and technic of this large wooden construction.
Check in hotel in Zhaoxing Town, enjoy a restful dinner and evening.

Day 6: Zhaoxing – Congjiang | Travel Overland to Congjiang, Discover Miao Ethnic Hill Tribes

Today, you will continue your road trip along the beautiful mountain roads to Congjiang, the inhabitant area of Miao ethnic tribes. En-route, you will pass Mountain valleys, rivers and beautiful primitive villages on the mountain.
Upon arrive in Congjiang, we will firstly have a visit to the Tang’an Dong Village. It is a unique village built on a steep mountain slope and surrounded by beautiful terraced rice fields.
Then you will continue your visit to Basha, the Miao ethnic tribe hiding in the remote mountain of South Guizhou province, it was opened to visitors in recent years. The tribal people still maintain their thousand-year-old traditions such as hunting in the forest.
Return to Congjiang Town and check in hotel. Rest of the day enjoy your leisure time in town.

Day 7: Congjiang – Rongjiang | Travel Overland to Congjiang, Discover Miao Ethnic Hill Tribes

Today, let us keep driving northward along the beautiful mountains and villages route.
You will firstly have a visit to Chejiang Dong Village, one of the largest village of Dong ethnic located along a river among mountains. Here you will experience the life of local ethnic people.
Continue your trip to Rongjiang Ancient Town, the town with a perfect mixture culture of Dong and Miao ethnics. Enjoy a stroll around the ancient town with 2,000-year-old history, discover the historical heritage and local people’s daily life.

Day 8: Rongjiang – Kaili | Transfer to Kaili, Discover the Datang Miao Ethnic Hill Tribe

Continue your scenic road trip to Kaili, you will visit the Datang Miao Village to discover the famed ‘Short Shirts Miao Ethnic’ which is a branch of Miao ethnic in the south of Guizhou province. This branch is famous for their unique costumes with short shirts and waterproof granaries. Visit the Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum, here you will have a more comprehensive introduction to the history, cultural and people’s life in Guizhou Province.
Check in hotel in Kaili for overnight.

Day 9: Kaili-Guiyang | Discover Ancient Technique of Paper Making, Transfer to Guiyang City.

In the morning, you will enjoy a visit to the Shiqiao Miao Village, you will discover how local people use the traditional technique to make paper. Followed, have a visit to the Qingman Miao Village, enjoy the traditional guest welcome ceremony by villagers, and have a taste their home made rice spirit.
Transfer to Guiyang City, the capital city of Guizhou Province, it is a modern city comparing the villages en-route. Welcome back to the nowadays modern city.

Day 10: Guiyang – Departure | Departure from Guiyang
